Our Family

Hi!
I'm Alex, he's Mark.

We met when we were 16 at a friend's birthday party. I'm generally not very outgoing, but that night as I walked by Mark, I couldn't help but exclaim "Wow! You're cute!".  We hit it off pretty well that night, but we wouldn't meet again for another 6 months!

That was at a church dance. That same mutual friend, *finally* convinced him to come to a dance. Lucky for me!  We met again, and we hit it off just as well as the first time.
That was in December of 2005. We started dating a few days after that dance.

We were young, but it didn't take long for us to realize we wanted to share eternity with eachother.

We got engaged on April 12, 2008

We were married for time and all eternity in the Atlanta, Georgia Temple on July 30, 2008

Our lives changed in May of 2009 when we found out we would be expecting our first baby! Pregnancy was such an amazing and exhausting experience! I couldn't have been able to get through it all without my loving husband.

Emerson Leigh joined our family on February 13, 2010 at 7lbs 6oz 21 inches long

Her labor was 13 hours or so long and completely exhausting! But 100% worth every second.

She is now 3 years old and a huge bundle of chaos. Although she can make me want to yank my hair out, I wouldn't give her up for the world. She brings such happiness to our lives. 

In December of 2011, we found out we were expecting our 2nd child! We couldn't have been any happier! After 18 months of trying to conceive and one miscarriage, we were over joyous to have her join our family.

My pregnancy with her was nerve wracking and not so easy. But I'd do it a million times over.

This was our last family photo as a family of 3 [or 4 if you count the dog]. About a week and a half before little miss joined us!

Ryann Lorraine joined our family on September 7, 2012 at 7lbs 15oz 21.25inches long

Her labor was easy and quick and 100% natural/med free! 

This little girl is such a happy baby! We are so lucky to be able to call her ours. 

And let's not forget about Gurgi!

He is our white miniature schnauzer. He joined our family on May 28, 2012.

He is such a good and he thinks he's one of the kids.
